Oh yes... there will be one Jumble sale organized by MMPS Penang next month. Let's see what do we have to contribute... So, mummy will be busy again and spend lesser and lesser time to blog. *Sigh*

Global Warming - end of our planet?
Two days ago, mummy was chatting with Ah Kong and discussed about the petroleum issues in Malaysia. There are prediction saying that there will be an end of the day whereby human will use up all the petrol. There is still no confirm renewable energy promise by the government. What will happen next? Use solar energy or water energy? Will there be a greater alternative energy exist in near future? Coal probably will work but isn't we need to use clean coal? Who is the provider? Suddenly so many questions came into mummy's mind...
At the same time we were watching Astro programme and suddenly there is short documentation film introducing the new solution to opportunity fuels. It's a technology from Japan, using waste to energy method and imagine what they use? Seaweed!!! They even build factories to grow seaweed as a new renewable energy solution. How amazing! Then mummy also came across N-Viro, an International Corporation that developes, implements and promotes the greener idea in using the organic waste as an alternative energy. Frankly speaking, this is really a brilliant idea. At least we still have a better hope for the future in staying green on earth. Mummy is really amazed on the technology from N-Viro in doing their best to promote the new recycling method that will benefit each and everyone of us.

Sling Baby, Sling!

This is a DIY pouch sling (with batik sarong) and it's actually 1-2 inches bigger than my actual size. Still big? Yes, and everyone commented it's too small. Oh yes, if you are looking for batik sarong which is a good material for pouch sling, let me know.
Wear this and the DIY ring sling to the mall a few times and baby Z was so quiet in there. Perhaps it's mummy's smell? In fact it's Gurney Plaza and haven't really seen anyone use this... mama with sling in the south Penang PLEASE join me here!!! Everyone saw me and asked "Baby feels hot in there?" " Baby's legs comfortable or not?" Well, if only the position is incorrect. Visit Malaysian Babywearer to learn more. All my slings are DIY. Even bedsheet can be used too... haha! As long as it can be used, I'm all-okay mama.
Baby Z has problem sleeping at home, he prefers people to carry to sleep. Therefore, if he can't sleep mummy will put him into sling and bring him out after he's asleep. Mummy think it's not a good idea but still it's not a bad idea coz mummy is unable to do anything if carry baby Z all day long. Moreover, babywearer mummies told me it's another great way to lose weight eventhough the reading of the scale is still the same. *Sigh*

From my wardrobe
Found them and couldn't imagine mummy fit in them some times ago...
The next obssession - Bags!
Sporty, sexy, casual, dinner, multipurpose, office, ... till lately diaper bag... you name it and mummy probably have them all. The diaper bag also originally not for baby use, ok? It's converted from the multifunctional bag. Well... at least I think it's multifunctional. There are still 10 or 12 bags not inside the photo. They are in use downstairs or somewhere else in the house though...
No, mummy never give them away as they are still new and practical to use in different occassions. 1/4 of the bags are handmade and definitely not giving away! But can pass down to family members or close friends...

These books caught my attention!
2) Green Parenting from a UK publisher
when I visited Borders this afternoon. Diaper Free? This is very interesting, I can imagine baby's bum exposed when crawling... very cute... haha! Green Parenting is a book covers all aspects living as a parent in raising your child which includes household item, clothing, food, toys... and many more but I don't have the time to flip through in details.
Browsed online and.... BINGO! I found Diaper Free & Green Parenting too! Another interesting one that I'm going to read will be Nappy Free Baby! This is the term - Elimination Communication that perhaps some parent nowadays still practise and definitely the method my parent used to potty trained us when disposable diapers was still in the invention period!
Have a green weekend!
