A suitcase with...

Cloth Diapers!!!
This was taken when mummy was packing for 1 month holiday in Alor Star with En En and Zheng.
But our little Tarzan was trying to be adventurous IN the suitcase too~~

First Time Shopping

For DiDi to walk! First time mummy went out with Zheng without a sling! Mind you, we never use stroller at all as DiDi hates to sit quietly and will fuss whenever he's unable to see the surrounding. In a sling, he's able to see what mummy is able to see as well.

We let Di Di walked on his own... in fact, we were in Gurney Plaza to get him a first and a new pair of slipper. Mummy and daddy never expect Zheng already able to walk steadily by 11 months old and hence never prepare any boy slipper or shoes for him. So, Zheng was wearing En En's old slipper... see... it's PINK!!!

Di Di walked...

"Err... why everyone is looking at me? Am I cute or because I'm a boy wearing pink slipper?"

En En: "Di Di be careful, don't fall down!"

We discovered something more interesting at the Toys section... hahaha!

Enjoying the "prey"...

" I got too!"

"I don't want to look at the shoes, I want to play toys!"

At last, En En found this Kiosk and had fun with it!

Zheng got his new pair of slipper at last!

5th Anniversary

Oh.. it is today... Well, nothing happen in fact. Will need to bring 2 kiddos to paed early morning... Opps... it's 1.40am now and mummy still awake to find time to blog...

Candle light dinner? Not really interested coz my 2 babies are still sick... coughing, stuffy nose, especially En En who is having breathing difficulties whenever she sleeps. Pity her so much... thankfully MIL is full time taking care of her so that mummy can concentrate on looking after Zheng who is recovering but the progress is very slow.

Alright, 5 years down the road daddy and mummy sure wish to have our very own romantic night out on memorable day like this but since both of the babies are still young, it's no fun to celebrate without them and yet it will be troublesome to bring them along. Should know what mummy is saying here...

Therefore, mummy told daddy it will be more meaningful if we are going to celebrate 10 years or 20 years or even 50 years (not sure still alive or not... LOL!) wedding anniversary. The greatest gift for now and the following years' wedding anniversary will be seeing our babies healthy and growing wiser each year. This is the most important and precious moment compare to candle light dinner and a bouquet of flowers!

Sick Babies

Yong Zheng at 11 months 1 week and 1 day old

Zheng was first discovered having cough last Sunday. Runny nose later of the days and fever the next day. Visited paed on Monday morning and was advised not to give Paracetamol syrup if the fever is not more than 38.5 or 39 degree. Everyone was worry... really scare of H1N1 influenza...

He has less appetite but screams loudly almost everyday due to discomfort of the throat, which is full of phlegm and coughing. He was on antibiotic for 3 days, visited paed on the thrid day to confirm his status. Luckily he had no fever since the second day, therefore he's just having a normal flu. Anyway, he still need to continue to take medicine to reduce the phlegm and is still taking till today.

Mummy thought breastfeed babies rarely can get sick during the first 12 months? Zheng already reached 11 months old and he's walking so steady now... very cute!

Rou En at 40 months 1 week and 5 days old

Well, it's predictable that En En caught the virus from Zheng since they are playing together days in and out. She started with cough the days before yesterday, in the evening. Then followed by runny nose. Never visit paed yet as we have medicine (for coughing and running nose) on hands at home and Zyrtec happens to be the cure for stopping running nose. Mummy took a look at the ingredient of this Zyrtec compare to Zyrtec En En took for her allergy, they are in fact different in percentage composition. Zyrtec for allergy is 10mg of Cetrizine while the other one is 1 mg.

We suspect En En's allergy reaction is due to cold as the red patches occured when she is first discovered coughing and had runny nose. It's been more than 1 month plus she's not taking her allergy medication even during our 1 month stay in Alor Star. Daddy also mentioned probably her allergy is related to her respitorary system (the lung?) or breathing tunnel. Should discuss this with her paed if we have next visit.

En En had fever too since yesterday but subsided today and hopeully she will be better tomorrow. Flu is always taking longer time to cure, moreover on infant and toddler.

We love bathing together!!!

Hmm... isn't the bath tub too small for both of them?

They simply love dipping in the (baby) pool during the stay in Po Po's house. En En said she was pretending as an elephant that love swimming in the water... Zheng learnt not to crawl inside the pool as he already got choked with water when he was first in the pool with Jie Jie. Well, mummy also got to sit in the pool with them together for the very first time. Great experience and all of us enjoy "swimming" in the pool so much!

Got tooth, finally...

10 months 4 weeks old

Discovered Zheng's first tooth 2 days ago... now it's hurt when he bites mummy!

Only left incisor was out... he's quite noisy these few days due to teething and will be very happy to see biscuit. Guess he wants to bite more on food now...

Baby's Steps

10 months 2 weeks and 2 days old

Zheng is walking 5-6 steps today! Saw him started to walk on his own a few times today. He will fall back and sit when he realized he's unstable in standing... What a joyful moment to discover his new milestone...

Good appetite!

Today's dinner... Zheng ate half bowl of rice with cooked sauce after his usual 1 bowl of porridge!!!

He's crawling and climbing more and more in Po Po's house, and not forgetting screaming his lungs out when we placed him in the baby cot when things got busy around the house. Another reason is he refuse to sit in high chair for his meal and we ended up tie him on the high chair which he dislike the most... Therefore, he didn't able to finish the usual portion of the food.

Glad to know that he's ready to eat rice even though he still has NO TEETH!

Busy as a BEE!!!

So busy and tired to handle 2 kids... Especially Zheng who can't even be quiet for a minute! He either climbs up the stairs, inspects everything within his reach with his mouth and screams whenever he's awake from his nap or being put inside the baby cot.

En En on the other hands, always asked for "Mummy I want to bath!" when mummy was busy cleaning Di Di's butt! Oh yeah... we are now in mummy's hometown - Alor Star since 18 Aug, maybe 1 and half weeks ago... No helpers around, so only mummy and Po Po to do all the household chores.

Better plan out and execute whatever activities that mummy wants both of them to involve together during the stay here...

By the way, En En stick to mummy more over here... Mummy is happy that she automatically looked for mummy, helped mummy to look after Di Di when mummy needs to go to the loo, and screams for mummy when Di Di is climbing up the stairs coz Di Di doesn't know how to come down yet. She's enjoying playing and chasing with Di Di and the house is full of their laughter!!!

Di Di is not feeling well...

The root cause is he's eating too many "things", those are called food and those are NOT food! At the end, he's having fungus around the insides (left & right) of his mouth... not forgetting the tummy wind as well...

Brought him to the paed on Sunday during this "peak" (H1N1 flu) period and was given Kaolin for the tummy wind and Tytantin for curing the fungus.

Today is the third day taking all the medication. It was like fighting to catch a fish when mummy needs to feed him the medic. So pity that he has to go through this and this is the SECOND time DiDi is taking oral medication. The FIRST time was paracetamol for the 3 months old jab.

He has no appetite to food these few days! So haertache to see our "Little Dustbin" rejecting food... but he still keeps on inspecting other stuff in the house with his MOUTH! Arrgh...

So, it's not always a good news if the little one loves to PUT EVERYTHING INTO THE MOUTH!

Bath time

The signature mouth...

The signature eyes...
So, you know who is who?

Let me out!

Didi: " Hey... let me out from here... I wanna join Jie Jie outside..."

Jie Jie: " Hi, DiDi... huh? What? You wanna come out?"

Jie Jie: " No Way! Your napkin dropped already, bird bird will fly away if you come out!"
Di Di checking on his dropped lampin...

DiDi: " Finally... a breeze... oh... my butt too!"

Who you love most?

En En replied as:-

" No.1 is Ah Mah...

No.2 is Mummy...

No.3 is Didi...

No.4 is Papa...

No.5 is Pe Pe (uncle Eric, who always offer her Pringles)...

No.6 is kakak (who plays and take care of her when Ah Mah or mummy is busy) ...

No.7 is Ah Kong (belakang) "

Kids nowadays are able to identify and choose their preferences. Worry, worry,...

Like sister, like brother...

The little one loves to watch PHDC's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Didi also will concentrate watching the show if he wakes up early in the morning.

One word to describe both of them - CUTE!

Pop on Zyrtec

Just to record down En En took Zyrtec today. The fingers were red in patches and was unable to subside on its own after 1 hours... infact it was getting worse. Redness started to shown on toes and legs quite fast though.

After half and hour she took Zyrtec, no more redness on her limbs. Phew...

Little Energizer who munch alot

9 months 1 weeks and 5 days old Boy

Of course he is the one!!! Move non-stop, eat non-stop (eating things that are call food and thing that aren't food)... but still hardly notice any fat form him as he burns fat faster than mummy... :P Climb up staircase at least 3x per day BUT he is unable to come down.

Eating bread while watching TV...

Eat porridge while playing at the chilren playground @ Gurney Plaza...

He thinks pacifiers and milk bottles are toys... he never suck them on longer than a minute...

Eating toys... and that was Jie Jie's toy...

"See my tummy rumbly?"

Weighed him yesterday at the visit to Klinik Kesihatan and he is 8.8kg, 72cm tall. Still no teeth but loves to eat biscuit!

Lunch at home

A twist from cooking rice everyday, PIL decided to change abit for lunch one day. Taste good with the fresh ingredient added and almost identical to real Har Mee (in Penang it's called Hokkien Mee).

She's improving...

The red patches started from the end of limbs such as toes, fingers

About her allergy rashes... it's getting better... slowly... She is not on Zyrtec everyday but only take it orally if the red rashed/spots/patches suddenly appear fast and can't even go away after some times.

After the course of the chinese medicine from Eu Yan Shang, she indeed had "big" bowel movement for 4 days. During this 4 days, no Zyrtec was given and no sign of allergy reaction came out. Quite amazingly but she had to take Zyrtec on the last day she's took the chinese medicine. Somehow, we are still unsure what was going wrong in her body.

So till today... the longest interval that she's not taking Zyrtec was 6 days apart. Quite a good improvement as compare to previously whereby she needs to take it every night.

She stopped Zyrtec on 13 July when she started the chinese medicine, took Zyrtec again on:
- 16 July
- In between another 2 times
- 22 July
- 28 July

We still need to monitor her from now on and hopefully she won't be needing anti-allergy medication eventually.
