Medicine War

Remember En En refuse medicine?? Basically, mummy afraid most is her tactics to get rid of taking medicine. She will run around for you to chase her and can you imagine we still need to place her in the walker in order not to let her run away?! That's one episode.

Next episod will be make her open her mouth and forget about the feeling of taking medicine... how? En En is one strange baby, once she's busy with other activity you will get her co-operation to feed with spoon very fast.

So, we did this:
Host unlimited photos at slide.com for FREE!
Let her play & busy with spoon and water in tea cup...

and,
Host unlimited photos at slide.com for FREE!
pump water into her mouth... she just love it!

By the time she had enough, she will start spitting water... brrrgh... brrgh...

I tried mixing the med in CE's porridge the other day... put a bit in the spoon. He choked every time and spit out the porridge too. grrr! Looks like mixing in the milk is the easiest way, but the med may not be so effective, esp for sorethroats. Worse case scenario.. hold him tight and force feed him. sigh... I hate to do that.

You can let her pump water on her own into her mouth, Emily likes it very much. Eventually she will pump her own medicine in her mouth. :P

mummy to qiqi: must play with her first??

slavemom: isn't med is not suppose to mix with milk? safe or not?

mybabybay: not when we are feeding her coz she will block her mouth with the pump.

malaika's mummy: aiyah, I don't have time to use IM too plus no personal laptop...

wen: don't you think kids today are too smart & tricky?

bryan's mama: en en can't even allow you to strap her, she will use her tactics to fool us first...
