Consequence of addicted to pacifier

En En loves her chut-chut (pacifier) and she can't sleep without one. Mummy is thinking to wean her off chut-chut (En En calls it "tut-tut") soon coz this will be a very difficult habit to change.

En En often found like below:

There's one night we brought her out and never bring any chu-chut and we found she kept on doing this:

The next morning we discovered:

Her finger is recovering but she just loves to peel the new grown layer of skin. Thus, the finger was always so red. (So heartache to see this, must be very painful!) Pacifier does nothing good if the child is too addicted!

I have an idea to make the pacifier even better. I am looking for support from parents like yourself who know what it's like to try and find a pacifier in the dark.

The idea is a pacifier that lights up when it falls out of a child's mouth. Making it easier for parent and child to find. I need your vote to make it a reality. Vote Here: Light-up Pacifier.

Kerrin: this is a great idea but I would rather don't start introduing pacifier to my baby. I prefer my boobs to be the pacifier... haha! Anyway, thanks for inviting.

bzbee: I wish en en never refuse my boobies but I know it's very tiring to be a 24 hours pacifier. :)

without a pacifier it is difficult to find ways to put my son to sleep. he was the one whom chose to stop chutchutting. one day he just decided not to take it. but it is harder for me as i have to tell him stories for hours (until throat also dry) before he can nap or sleep at night. sometimes i wish he would just take the pacifier.
